We are currently recruiting for a* Store Person* to be a part of our team at 25 Bank Street, London E14 5JP
This is a great opportunity for those looking to develop their career within the hospitality sector, you may begin as a Stores Person but we are always on the look out to progress our team members onto bigger things in the future!

  • £12.25 per hour
  • Full time – 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, shifts ranging between 7am – 3.30pm
  • No evenings or weekends!

*What you'll be doing*

  • Checking in food deliveries, temperature checking and recording
  • Stocking up and stock rotation of products using the FIFO method
  • Stocktaking and placing orders
  • Liasing with the chef team on stock requirements
  • Serve food and beverages to customers, the building is on Parliament square and hosts many high level civil servants and government ministers.
  • Making drinks and some food preparation (heating, plating up as all food is pre prepared off site)
  • Setting up for functions
  • Working with all the various catering teams to help provide the best possible service to the clients and customers
  • Offering a high level of customer service when dealing with our clients
  • Supporting front and back of house duties
  • Operating the till, taking payments and keep any financial records required
  • Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
  • Undertake relevant training as required

Experience

  • Previous hospitality/catering experience is desirable for this role - on the job training will also be provided
  • Good level of English
  • An understanding of large catering sites, working safely whilst moving large amounts of stock
  • DBS check required
  • Excellent customer service skills and a great team player!
