Dewcare Recruitment UK LTD is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team in Southampton
Position Summary:
The Teaching Assistant will assist in the daily teaching of the curriculum and in the supervision of students. This position requires a person who is passionate about working with children with special needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism, other intellectual disabilities, or physical disabilities. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work weekends.
Essential Duties:
Assist teachers in implementing curriculum as directed by the Lead Teacher.
- Provide positive guidance and support to students with special needs.
- Work with other teachers on a team to provide quality care for students in class.
- Maintain a safe environment for students and respond to any concerns or requests that may impact student safety.
- Follow all policies and procedures established by Dewcare Recruitment UK LTD or any outside agency that provided support for the program including but not limited to: attendance, attendance recording, discipline, security, sanitary and health care procedures.
- Maintain positive relationships with families, students, teachers and other staff members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
