We are recruiting for a General Office Administrator who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing of all income received by the Trust, ensuring that it is correctly posted to the Trust's financial systems. You will also be involved in the day to day cashiering function providing support to the General Office Supervisor and General Office Cashier.

The role involves daily contact with all levels of Trust staff, patients and other NHS bodies. We are looking for a conscientious individual who likes to work as part of a team and is keen to provide the best possible service to our patients. Why not start or continue your career with us?

All staff at Medway comply the Trust’s and the Kent and Medway Safeguarding Board’s policies on safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Ensuring that all cash, cheque, credit/debit card and direct bank payments received by the Trust are input into the Trust Financial Ledgers on a timely basis.

To ensure that the allocation of all receipts are made against the relevant invoice within the debtors ledger or to the correct financial code.

To ensure that all income documentation, remittances or backing to support receipts are received and scanned to the relevant systems.

Liaising with CCGs, other NHS bodies and Trust suppliers.

Assisting staff responsible for the management of petty cash floats and ensuring controls are followed to prevent loss, theft and fraud.
