iQ is one of the UK's biggest providers of student accommodation, committed to giving our 30,000 students in 76 sites across 29 UK cities their best year yet. Each summer, we upgrade and prepare our locations ready for our residents. As part of the summer team, you will be assisting the on-site team get our vibrant and modern accommodation prepared and in great shape to welcome our students in September.

The Role: Housekeeper

Working Hours: Between Monday-Friday 8am-8pm with occasional weekends

Contract Length: Temporary work available from July onwards

Rate of Pay: £10.42 PH

Location: York City Centre YO3

• Working as part of the dedicated on-site team to make sure the students who stay with us always feel at home

• You will be ensuring that the location remains clean and is always looking its best, including shared spaces, office and reception areas, and outdoor spaces

• Conducting daily checks and cleaning all areas as required, as well as ensuring outdoor areas remain free from litter

• Logging maintenance requests, safety hazards and stock requests as required

What are we looking for?

• People who are dedicated to upholding high standards

• Experience in cleaning in an occupied building

• Able to work in a safe and compliant manner, understanding COSHH policy and can use cleaning tools safely

• Flexible and able to work shifts between Mon-Fri and occasional Saturdays

• Always willing to go above and beyond to solve a problem
